Tactical Games Thursday
Welcome to Tactical Games Thursdays!!!!
Today is dedicated to video games and board games!!
Today's video game is............
Undertale is a traditional Role-playing game with one very
big exception: Where most developers incorporate violence into game play,
creator Toby Fox tries to work around it.
Undertale takes place in a world where humans and monsters ONCE
coexisted peacefully. After war tore the two races apart, the monsters were
sealed underground; the game begins shortly after a child tumbles through a
great hole and into a monster-filled domain. Fox set out to make a title that
relies on interaction and choice to tell a story. Now on Kick starter, Undertale
is billed as a game "where no one has to get hurt."
The ability to take out enemies with an effortless click
still exists but so do alternate OPTIONS. Want to befriend a boss you've
encountered? Try talking to him. Instead of attacking or fleeing, select the
game's option for mercy, and spare your foes.
Undertale not only has an amazing story, But also has an unforgettable cast of characters too. And like all video games had an unbelievable response from the fandom world. When you look up Undertale on the computer or on the phone, you find an incredible new fandom with FANtastic (that's PUNNY!!! XD) people apart of it. you find alternate universes and Cute Ships that are sailing proudly across the internet.
Undertale has become a family to those who wish to be accepted for who they are inside and out. That no matter what you define yourself as. Gender, race, sexual preference, it doesn't we are all amazing and we all deserve a chance to be who we are meant to be. That is why Undertale is not only a video game but a home for its family.
